The Ramble Inn Killester Sold

Dublin, July 2016 – CBRE have confirmed that The Ramble Inn, Killester, Dublin 5 has been sold in a private treaty transaction. The property was sold on behalf of Stephen Tennant, Grant Thornton, Receiver.

The Ramble Inn is located on Killester Avenue in a densely populated residential area close to Collins Avenue which links the Malahide Road and the Howth Road. The property is located close to Parnell Park GAA grounds and is approximately 6kms from the centre of Dublin. The Killester area, along with the surrounding areas of Donnycarney, Raheny, Artane, Coolock and Beaumont has a population in excess of 23,000 people.

The Ramble Inn is a part two storey/part single storey licensed premises which forms part of a parade of local shops. The accommodation comprises a ground floor lounge bar and public bar with a beer cold room to the rear. Overhead there is the former residential accommodation comprising 5 rooms.

John Ryan of CBRE stated that The Ramble Inn generated significant interest from publicans and was eventually acquired by a consortium headed up by businessman, Shane O’Brien for a price well in excess of the guide price of €525,000.
