159 Investment Transactions Totalling Almost €3.2 Billion Completed In First 9 Months Of 2016
Dublin, 5th October 2016 – Commercial property consultants CBRE Ireland have released statistics on the volume and value of investment sales extending to more than €1 million in value in the Irish market in the first nine months of 2016. Their research shows that a total of 159 investment transactions of more than €1 million (totalling almost €3.2 billion between them), completed in Ireland during the first nine months of 2016, with 40 transactions signing in the last three month period alone.
Activity in the Irish investment market in the year-to-date has been very strong, buoyed by a number of large transactions. To date, the Brexit referendum result has had no discernible impact on the appetite for Irish commercial property investments. If anything, it has boosted the volume of enquiries for prime real estate with several Euro-denominated funds having increased their capital allocations of late.
